Today's Housewife Guest Writer Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in being a guest writer for Today’s Housewife! We are always happy to share our blog with like-minded writers to encourage women build their homes like the wise woman in Proverbs 14:1.
To make the process as easy as possible for both of us, we’ve come up with some guidelines.
First, let us know which week you would like to guest post on by emailing todayshousewife @hotmail.com We will respond to let you know if that week is available and any special instructions!
As soon as possible after being accepted, please send us a couple sentences of biographical information and links to your blog, Twitter page, and/or Facebook fan page. We will begin to advertise your guest post the Sunday before your guest post is scheduled to run on Friday.
By Tuesday of the week you are scheduled to guest post, please send us your post! You can do so in one of the following ways:
1. Send us the HTML of your post. This is the easiest way for you and for us! Just cut and paste it in an email. The formatting, pictures, and text will all come out exactly the way you want.
2. Share the post with us in Google Docs. You can use Sandra’s account to submit your post this way- swpsebts @hotmail.com
3. Type your post as a Word doc and attach it to an email. If you use this method, please do not put pictures in the Word doc. Attach them as separate files.
If you would like to include any additional bio information or a head shot of yourself, please do that in your submission. We will let you know of any formatting or editing changes we make for your final approval.
We use our Twitter account and Facebook fan page to promote your guest post. Unless otherwise notified, your guest post will run at the top of the page by 6:00am (EST) the Friday you are scheduled, and will remain at the top until Sunday afternoon when we run our new topic of the week.
Please let us know if you have any questions! Thank you again for your interest in guest posting for Today’s Housewife!
